Being able to complete my workplace hours with United Through Sport is a valuable opportunity to put my studies into practice while gaining experience in a real sporting environment. I’m excited to develop my coaching skills while contributing to programmes that use sport to positively impact young people.

Studying at HFPA has allowed me to gain valuable knowledge while applying what I learn in a real sporting environment. Completing my practical hours with UXi Sport students has given me hands-on experience and greater confidence as I work towards my career in the fitness industry

HFPA’s study paths assisted me to transition into an Advanced Certificate in Higher Education in my second year. This assisted me with permanent employment opportunity whilst still completing my second year.

With my HFPA Qualification and specialist CPD certifications, as well as industry-ready practical training and exposure HFPA offered me, I was able to secure employment as a Personal Trainer whilst also earning additional income as a sports and therapeutic message therapist. I love doing what I have a passion for and helping every client improve their fitness, recover effectively and achieve lasting results!

Being involved in student events shaped me. Planning and supporting events taught me teamwork, coordination and how to lead under pressure. My experience in sales and marketing also gave me a better understanding of the business side of sport
